Europe Day is celebrated every year on 9 May!

But what is Europe Day? And what does it mean to you? 
The date marks the anniversary of the signing of the Schuman Declaration - the text which laid the foundation of the European Union as we know it today.  This year is particular as it is the 75th anniversary of the Schuman declaration! 

How do we celebrate it? 
There are no fixed rules for 9 May! You might join an event in your town, take an online quiz with friends, watch a documentary, or simply share something that makes you feel European. Whether you’re a student, teacher, parent, or simply a curious citizen, there are plenty of ways to take part in Europe Day.
